SHIPPING AND RETURNS

1. GENERAL INFORMATION

Giarité (“we”, “us”) operates www.giarite.com. By placing an order, you agree to the terms below. These are designed to ensure clarity and fairness while protecting both you and our brand.

We are a London-based company with inventory held across multiple warehouses worldwide.
Most in-stock orders are processed within 48 hours (business days) after payment confirmation. You will receive an email with your tracking details once your order has been shipped.

Please note that pre-order pieces may have longer lead times depending on production and availability.
You can track your delivery at any time via our Track Order page.

2. SHIPPING OPTIONS (Not including processing time - up to 48h)

Shipping times vary depending on the destination and customs clearance. Estimated delivery windows will be shown at checkout.
During holiday seasons or launch periods, please allow additional time due to higher demand and quality control checks.

Holiday Season Delivery

During our seasonal sales, we experience a higher volume of orders. As a result, we kindly request that you allow additional processing time before dispatch from our warehouse. We strive to expedite all orders, but we appreciate your patience and understanding during these peak periods.

3. CUSTOMS FEES

Prices on the website are shown inclusive of taxes and duties (DDP) for UK, USA and UAE. To all other countries, we ship on a DDU basis (Delivery Duty Unpaid). This means the recipient will be liable for any local sales taxes or import duties which may be charged on the purchase.

We are unable to advise the amount, as they change from country to country depending on local import legislation. Occasionally, goods may be subject to delays due to customs or extreme weather conditions. The customer is also responsible for providing any information required by customs to ensure the goods are cleared.

4. SHIPPING ADDRESS

Please double-check your shipping address before completing checkout.
We are not responsible for undelivered orders caused by incorrect or incomplete address information provided at checkout.

5. ORDER CANCELLATIONS

You may request a cancellation within 2 hours of placing your order.
After this time, the order is automatically processed by our fulfilment partners and cannot be changed or cancelled.

If you wish to return an item after receiving it, please reach out to our team via our WhatsApp channel

6. DAMAGED, DEFECTIVE OR INCORRECT ITEMS

If your item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please submit a request through the Returns Portal within 48 hours of delivery.
Include:

  • Your order number

  • Clear photos showing the issue and the packaging

Once verified, we will send a replacement at no additional cost.
If the customer no longer wishes to receive the replacement, the item must first be returned and inspected before a refund can be issued.

This policy ensures that every concern is resolved quickly, fairly, and in alignment with Giarité’s quality standards.

7. RETURNS AND REFUNDS

To request a return, please use our WhatsApp channel to initiate a ticket within 14 days of delivery.

Once approved, you must ship your return within 7 days using a tracked service.

🇺🇸 US Orders

We cover duties and tariffs (up to 50%) in advance so your delivery is seamless and without surprise fees. Please note that due to international tariffs, the refundable portion of US orders may be significantly lower than the original purchase amount.

If you request a refund:

  • Duties and tariffs already paid are non-refundable
  • Original and return shipping costs are non-refundable
  • The remaining balance will be refunded to your original payment method
  • Exchanges or store credit are available without additional handling fees.

Return conditions

  • Items must be unused, unworn, and in original packaging (dust bag, box, tags, and accessories included).
  • The customer is responsible for covering the return shipping. We recommend using a tracked courier service for all returns. We are not responsible for items lost in transit or duties billed back to us.

Important notes

  • Sale items are final sale and non-refundable. 10% Welcome code is not included in this policy.
  • Missing packaging or accessories may incur a £15 repackaging fee.
  • Items that do not meet the return requirements will be refused and returned to the customer. 

Once your return is inspected and accepted, you’ll receive your refund or store credit within 10 business days.


8. LOST OR MISSING PARCELS

If your tracking shows “Delivered” but you have not received your parcel:

  1. Check with household members, reception, or neighbours.

  2. Contact the courier directly using your tracking number.

  3. If the issue remains unresolved, submit a claim through our WhatsApp channel within 7 days of the delivery scan.

Please note: Giarité is not liable for packages marked as delivered by the courier.
At our discretion, we may offer a one-time replacement or store credit following a carrier investigation.

9. CUSTOMER SERVICE

All return, exchange, or replacement requests must go through the WhatsApp Channel

We aim to respond within 1–2 business days (Monday–Friday).
